Fire and Ice say congratulations to all those who took part in this year’s Lorna Doone Challenge! We were once again treated to stunning weather for the whole day, and the event was very well supported by walkers from up and down the country. There were an even spread of teams taking on the 12 and 24 mile routes, and all the money collected from entrance fees will go directly to the Firefighters’ Charity.
Huge thanks goes to Neil Giddings who organised the event and all the members of Fire and Ice who gave up their Saturday to act as marshals for the day. We had overwhelmingly positive feedback and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.
